Wilson Soethe Cursino operates G-V Type Rating. This policy covers the app and its marketing and support pages.

At a glance

No account is required. Study history stays on your device. The app shows Google AdMob banners, and Google processes advertising and device information to deliver them. If you contact support, we receive the information you send.

Study data on your device

Card review history, spaced-repetition schedules, your selected deck, XP, ranks, streaks and achievements are stored locally using Apple's UserDefaults storage. The app does not upload this study data to a developer-operated server or include your answers or scores in ad requests. Quizzes and flashcards work offline.

Advertising

The app displays Google AdMob banners at the bottom of quiz and flashcard screens. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses (including general location inferred from them), device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, other usage information, crash logs and performance diagnostics. These data support advertising, measurement, service improvement and fraud prevention, subject to configuration, permissions and consent.

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent information and present applicable privacy messages, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Ad requests are made only when the consent SDK reports that they are permitted. Where required, tap Privacy Choices on the Study screen to review or withdraw your choices. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ads or all ad-related processing; available choices are described in the consent message.

The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, so it does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA). This does not mean the advertising SDK processes no information. Study remains available when ads cannot load. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and any message, device details or attachments you provide. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot and address your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. Email providers process communications to deliver and store those messages.

This website and external services

These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to provide and secure its service; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising scripts or tracking cookies to these G-V Type Rating pages. Links to the App Store and other external sites are governed by those services' privacy policies.

Sharing and processing locations

The app does not supply local study records to advertisers. Advertising information is processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above. Support messages are handled through email providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their published policies and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Study records remain on your device until the app is removed. Deleting the app removes local app data, subject to backups and Apple's restore behavior; offloading may retain data. We cannot remotely access or erase your local study records. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond to and resolve requests and meet applicable obligations; you can request its deletion by email. Third-party providers determine retention for information they process under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

Use Privacy Choices on the app's Study screen where available, and your device's privacy settings. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses. Contact wilson.cursino@gmail.com to make a request about information we hold. We may need information to verify and fulfill your request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. For information held independently by Google, use the controls and contacts in Google's policy.

Children

This app is intended for pilots and adult aviation learners and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

Security and changes

Local data relies on your device's protections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy as features or data practices change and will revise the date on this page.
