Privacy Policy

Wilson Soethe Cursino operates Airbus A320 Systems, also identified in the app as A320 Checkride Prep. This policy covers the app and its marketing and support pages.

At a glance

No account is required. Study history stays on your device. In versions where advertising is enabled, Google processes advertising and device information. If you contact support, we receive the information you send.

Study data on your device

Quiz results, category accuracy, XP, streaks and Smart Review scheduling and memory history are stored locally using Apple's UserDefaults storage. The app does not upload this study data to a developer-operated server or include your answers or scores in ad requests. Core study features work offline.

Advertising and consent

When advertising is enabled, the app displays Google AdMob banners. Google's SDK may process IP addresses (including general location inferred from them), device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, other usage information, crash logs and performance diagnostics. These data support advertising, measurement, service improvement and fraud prevention, subject to configuration, permissions and consent.

Google's User Messaging Platform requests consent information and presents applicable privacy messages. Where required, open Settings → Advertising → Privacy choices to review or withdraw choices. Ad requests are made only when the consent SDK reports that they are permitted. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ads or all ad-related processing; available choices are described in the consent message. Study remains available when ads cannot be requested or loaded.

The current implementation does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission or explicitly access the advertising identifier (IDFA). This does not mean the advertising SDK processes no information. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Optional ad-free purchases

In versions offering in-app purchases, Apple processes weekly and monthly auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase that remove advertising. We do not receive payment card details. The app uses verified StoreKit transaction information, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, expiration dates, subscription renewal and billing grace-period information, and revocation status, to calculate ad-free access and restore purchases. No developer-operated purchase server or account is used. Apple retains purchase records under its Privacy Policy. Weekly and monthly plans renew automatically until canceled. Manage subscriptions in Settings. Lifetime access does not cancel an existing subscription. All banner requests are suppressed while ad-free access is active.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and any message, device details or attachments you provide. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot and address your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. Email providers process communications to deliver and store those messages.

This website and external services

These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to provide and secure its service; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. App icons loaded from Apple's servers also involve ordinary network requests to Apple. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising scripts or tracking cookies to these A320 pages. Links to the App Store and other external sites are governed by those services' privacy policies.

Sharing and processing locations

Local study records are not supplied by the app to advertisers. Advertising information is processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above. Support messages are handled through email providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their published policies and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Study records remain on your device until reset or removed. Stats → Reset All Stats clears quiz statistics, XP and streaks, but not the separate Smart Review history. Deleting the app removes local app data, subject to backups and Apple's restoration behavior; offloading may retain data. We cannot remotely access or erase your local study records. Support correspondence is retained as needed to respond to and resolve requests and meet applicable obligations; you can request its deletion by email. Third-party providers determine retention for information they process under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

Use the app's privacy choices where available and your device's privacy settings. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses. Contact wilson.cursino@gmail.com to make a request concerning information we hold. We may need information to verify and fulfill your request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. For information held independently by Google, use the controls and contacts in Google's policy.

Children

This app is intended for pilots and adult aviation learners and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

Security and changes

Local data relies on your device's protections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy as features or data practices change and will revise the date on this page.
